    NDOR1 Antibody (XX-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NDOR1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NDOR1 antibody (XX-9) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. NDOR1, also known as NADPH-dependent diflavin oxidoreductase 1 or NR1 (Novel reductase 1), is a 597 amino acid cytoplasmic protein characterized by the presence of one FAD-binding domain and one flavodoxin-like domain. NDOR1 is expressed at low levels in various tissues, including heart, brain, kidney, pancreas, prostate, and skeletal muscle, but is particularly abundant in placenta. NDOR1 plays a crucial role as an oxidoreductase, utilizing FAD and FMN as cofactors to facilitate NADP-dependent reduction of one-electron acceptors such as cytochrome c, menadione, and potassium ferricyanide. This enzymatic activity is vital for cellular redox balance and energy metabolism. NDOR1 is implicated in tumorigenesis, showing presence in various cancer cell lines, including lung carcinoma, melanoma G361, promyelocytic leukemia, HeLa S3, chronic myelogenous leukemia, lymphoblastic leukemia, Burkitt′s lymphoma, and colorectal adenocarcinoma. Two isoforms of NDOR1 arise from alternative splicing events, contributing to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms in different cellular contexts.
