    NAT-10 Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects NAT-10 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NAT-10, or N-acetyltransferase 10, is a crucial nuclear protein that plays a significant role in the regulation of telomerase activity, which is vital for maintaining telomere length and genomic stability. NAT-10 is characterized by a single N-acetyltransferase domain, which is believed to function as a histone acetyltransferase, thereby influencing chromatin structure and gene expression. NAT-10 is upregulated in response to DNA damage, highlighting NAT-10′s importance in genotoxic resistance and DNA repair mechanisms. High binding affinity for the promoter region of the telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) gene underscores NAT-10′s role in stimulating telomerase production, suggesting that human telomerase complexes may have diverse functions beyond their traditional roles. NAT-10′s versatility in cellular processes makes NAT-10 a critical target for research in cancer biology and aging, where telomere maintenance is a key factor.

    Thank you for your question. Yes, NAT-10 (D-11): sc-271771 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
