NALP1 Antibody (Nalpy1-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects NALP1 in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NALP1, also known as caspase recruitment domain protein 7, plays a crucial role in the innate immune response as a key component of the inflammasome, which is essential for the activation of inflammatory processes. NALP1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is involved in forming cytoplasmic structures known as death effector filaments, which facilitate the recruitment of caspases, thereby promoting apoptosis. NALP1 expression in immune cells such as thymocytes, splenocytes, and peripheral blood leukocytes underscores its importance in regulating immune responses and maintaining homeostasis. Additionally, NALP1 contains a putative nucleotide binding site and regions rich in leucine repeats, which are critical for protein-protein interactions, enhancing NALP1′s ability to activate pro-caspase-9 in conjunction with APAF1 and cytochrome c. Anti-NALP1 antibody (Nalpy1-4) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying apoptosis, inflammation, and immune system dynamics.
