Na+/K+-ATPase α1 Antibody (C464.6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody engineered to recognize Na+/K+-ATPase α1 (ATP1A1) across multiple species in applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Na+/K+-ATPase α1 monoclonal antibody (C464.6) is available in non-conjugated form and various conjugates, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, supporting diverse research needs. Na+/K+-ATPase is a crucial membrane protein in the P-type ion transporter family, maintaining cellular homeostasis by actively pumping three sodium ions out and two potassium ions into cells against electrochemical gradients. This action regulates cellular volume, maintains resting membrane potential, and enables secondary active transport of various solutes. Na+/K+-ATPase complex comprises multiple isoforms of α, β, and γ subunits; α1 subunit contains ATP and ion binding sites, while β subunit ensures proper folding and membrane insertion of α subunits. γ subunit enhances ATP affinity in specific tissues, particularly nephron segments in kidneys. Na+/K+-ATPase α1 (C464.6) antibody enables researchers to investigate this essential protein′s regulation and role in various biological contexts, advancing understanding of cellular mechanisms, hypertension, cardiac function, and neurological disorders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Na+,K+-ATP ase alpha 1 subunit renal tissueWe used this antibody in renal cortex and medulla. We performed a western blot and immunohistochemistry. We could visualized a very good band at 100kDa in western blot. Immunohistochemistry showed a prominent Na+,K+-ATP ase alpha1 in basolateral membrane from renal tubules.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great featuresI bought this antibody for a while, and I'd used it for my experiments for a long time, I think I'm capable for writting down the review for this antibody. This antibody was very great, the sigals of Na/K-ATPase was very clear, and, of course, the PVDF membrane's background was totally clean. This antibody is worth to be used.
