N-cadherin Antibody (8C11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects N-cadherin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-N-cadherin antibody (8C11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. N-cadherin plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, facilitating binding between cells that is essential for maintaining tissue integrity and promoting morphogenetic processes. N-cadherin is primarily located at the cell membrane, where adherens junctions form, which are vital for structural organization of tissues. This localization enables N-cadherin to interact with the cytoskeleton and other signaling molecules, influencing cellular behavior and communication.
