    SEE ALSO...

Myoglobin Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects myoglobin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Myoglobin is a crucial cytosolic oxygen-binding protein primarily found in skeletal and cardiac muscle, where myoglobin plays a vital role in the storage and diffusion of oxygen within myocytes. Myoglobin (F-9) antibody is essential for studying mitochondrial respiration during periods of intense and sustained contractile activity, effectively facilitating the transport of oxygen from erythrocytes to mitochondria, which is critical for energy production in muscle cells. The genomic structure of myoglobin is highly conserved across various species, featuring a putative polyadenylation signal and a polypyrimidine-rich region, which are important for regulation and expression. In humans, myoglobin is encoded by a single gene and has also been identified in smooth muscle, highlighting diverse functional roles in different tissue types. Anti-myoglobin antibody (F-9) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying oxygen transport mechanisms and muscle physiology, providing reliable detection and analysis of myoglobin.
