myoglobin Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects myoglobin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-myoglobin antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Myoglobin is a crucial cytosolic oxygen-binding protein primarily located in skeletal and cardiac muscle, where myoglobin plays a vital role in oxygen storage and diffusion within myocytes.
