SEE ALSO...

MYH1/2 Antibody (A4.1025) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody designed to detect myosin heavy chain proteins encoded by the MYH1 and MYH2 genes, also known as MyHC-IIx and MyHC-IIa, respectively. These proteins are localized within the sarcomeric thick filaments of skeletal muscle cells, where they play a pivotal role in muscle contraction by interacting with actin to generate force and facilitate movement. The precise cellular localization of MYH1 and MYH2 is crucial for determining the contraction speed and functional properties of different muscle fiber types, making anti-MYH1/2 antibody (A4.1025) an essential tool for muscle physiology studies. Capable of recognizing MYH1/2 across a diverse range of species including mammals, avians, amphibians, and fish, MYH1/2 monoclonal antibody (A4.1025) is recommended for use in western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. Available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated forms such as agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, MYH1/2 (A4.1025) antibody offers versatility for a wide array of experimental setups. By enabling precise detection and localization of MYH1 and MYH2 isoforms, anti-MYH1/2 antibody (A4.1025) supports advanced research into muscle development, muscle disease mechanisms, and the molecular dynamics of muscle function.
