SEE ALSO...

Myf-6 Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Myf-6 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Myf-6 (G-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Myf-6 protein, also known as MRF-4 or herculin, is a member of the myogenic regulatory factor (MRF) family, which plays a crucial role in muscle cell differentiation and development. Specifically, Myf-6 is involved in the regulation of muscle-specific gene expression, acting as a transcription factor that can form heterodimers with other bHLH proteins, such as Myo D and myogenin. This interaction is vital for the activation of muscle-specific genes during the differentiation process, ensuring proper muscle formation and function. Myf-6′s ability to bind to E box target sites in the regulatory regions of these genes highlights its importance in muscle development, making Myf-6 a key player in the intricate network of factors that govern myogenesis.
