SEE ALSO...

MST-3 Antibody (47) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MST-3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-MST-3 antibody (47) is available as non-conjugated format. MST-3, a member of the mammalian STE20-like kinase family, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by acting as a serine/threonine kinase that can phosphorylate various substrates, including itself. Self-phosphorylation enhances kinase activity and stability, influencing downstream signaling cascades that regulate cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. MST-3 (47) monoclonal antibody recognizes MST-3 across different mammalian tissues, highlighting MST-3′s importance in various physiological processes. MST-3 interacts with other proteins in signaling pathways, such as p38 MAPK and JNK pathways, which are vital for cellular responses to stress and inflammation. Understanding MST-3 function and interactions remains essential for elucidating roles in health and disease, particularly in cancer and metabolic disorders.

I am using MST-3 (47): sc-135993 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
