SEE ALSO...

MSH3 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MSH3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-MSH3 antibody (B-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MSH3 plays a critical role in the DNA mismatch repair (MMR) pathway, which is essential for maintaining genomic stability during DNA replication. MSH3, in conjunction with MSH2, forms a heterodimer that recognizes and binds to DNA mismatches, facilitating their repair. This process is vital because errors in DNA replication can lead to mutations, which, if not corrected, may contribute to the development of various cancers, including hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC). The interaction between MSH3 and MSH2 is crucial for the effective functioning of the MMR system, and disruptions in this pathway due to mutations in the corresponding genes can result in microsatellite instability, a hallmark of several malignancies. MSH3 (B-4) antibody enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of DNA repair and the implications of MSH3 in cancer biology.
