    SEE ALSO...

MRP-L49 Antibody (G-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MRP-L49 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MRP-L49 (G-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MRP-L49, also known as mitochondrial ribosomal protein L49, Neighbor of FAU, and Protein NOF1, is a crucial component of the mitochondrial ribosome, specifically part of the large 39S subunit, which plays a vital role in mitochondrial protein synthesis. This 166 amino acid protein is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 11, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Jacobsen syndrome. Proper functioning of MRP-L49 is essential for the synthesis of mitochondrial proteins, which are critical for energy production and cellular metabolism. Disruptions in the expression or function of MRP-L49 can lead to significant metabolic dysfunctions, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular health and energy homeostasis.
