MRP-L39 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MRP-L39 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MRP-L39 (F-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MRP-L39, also known as mitochondrial ribosomal protein L39, MRP-L5, L39mt, or L5mt, is a crucial component of the mitochondrial ribosomal 39S subunit, which plays a vital role in mitochondrial protein synthesis. This 338 amino acid protein is essential for proper mitochondrial functioning, collaborating with other mitochondrial ribosomal proteins to facilitate mitochondrial mRNA translation into functional proteins. MRP-L39 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, with one isoform being ubiquitously expressed and another specifically found in heart tissue, highlighting potential significance in cardiac function. The gene encoding MRP-L39 is located on chromosome 21, notable for association with various diseases, including Down syndrome, Alzheimer′s disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Anti-MRP-L39 antibody (F-10) effectively detects this protein across multiple species and applications, making MRP-L39 (F-10) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying mitochondrial function and related pathologies.
