    SEE ALSO...

MOX-1 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MOX-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MOX-1 (B-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MOX-1, also known as Mesenchyme homeobox 1, plays a crucial role in the early stages of mesoderm formation during gastrulation, which is vital for proper embryonic development. MOX-1 is involved in the differentiation of mesodermal and mesenchymal derivatives, contributing to the formation of the axial skeleton. MOX-1 expression is first detected in the newly formed mesoderm of primitive streak stage mouse embryos, highlighting its importance in early developmental processes. MOX-1 interacts more strongly with Pax-1, a transcription factor essential for skeletal development, while MOX-2 preferentially associates with Pax-3. MEOX1 gene, which encodes MOX-1, is located on chromosome 17q21, underscoring its evolutionary conservation and significance across species.
