MLL4 Antibody (1F6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MLL4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MLL4 antibody (1F6) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. MLL4 plays a crucial role as a histone methyltransferase, specifically targeting lysine 4 of histone H3 (H3K4), which is essential for the regulation of gene expression and chromatin remodeling. This function is particularly important in the context of development and cellular differentiation, as aberrations in H3K4 methylation can lead to various malignancies, including leukemia. MLL4 is part of the mixed lineage leukemia (MLL) gene family, which is known for involvement in epigenetic regulation and has been implicated in several types of cancer.
