SEE ALSO...

MLL Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects MLL protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-MLL antibody (D-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MLL protein, also known as myeloid/lymphoid leukemia, plays a crucial role in regulating embryonic and hematopoietic development, making MLL essential for proper cellular differentiation and proliferation. Notably, MLL is involved in chromosomal translocations that lead to acute myeloid leukemia, particularly through interactions with other proteins such as ELL (11-19 lysine-rich leukemia protein), which enhances RNA polymerase II elongation and transcriptional efficiency. The gene encoding MLL is located on chromosome 11q23, and MLL dysregulation can have significant implications in cancer biology. MLL (D-3) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of gene expression regulation and the pathogenesis of leukemia, providing insights into the molecular underpinnings of these critical biological processes.
