ML 141 is a selective, potent and reversible non-competitive inhibitor Cdc42, a Rho family GTPase member. Cdc42 is involved in the control of actin polymerization by directly interacting with Neural Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (N-WASP), which in turn activates the Arp2/3 complex. This complex plays a role in the formation of branched actin networks and regulates key cellular processes such as cell adhesion, cytoskeletal organization, phagocytosis, host-pathogen interactions, cell motility, migration, and membrane protein trafficking.
