MKP-5 Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MKP-5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MKP-5 (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MKP-5 protein, also known as dual specificity phosphatase 10 (DUSP10), plays a crucial role in regulating mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase signaling pathways, which are essential for mediating cellular responses to a variety of stimuli. Specifically, MKP-5 dephosphorylates and inactivates p38 MAPK and SAPK/JNK, thereby modulating processes such as cell proliferation, apoptosis, and immune responses. MKP-5′s ability to regulate these pathways is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing excessive inflammatory responses, which can lead to pathological conditions. MKP-5 is ubiquitously expressed and can be found in both cytoplasm and nucleus, highlighting MKP-5′s importance in various cellular contexts. Using anti-MKP-5 antibody (G-10) in research can provide valuable insights into intricate signaling mechanisms that govern cellular behavior and contribute to disease progression.
