MIP-2 Antibody (RR14) is a rat monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects MIP-2 in mouse samples through applications such as western blotting (WB) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MIP-2, also known as macrophage inflammatory protein-2, plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a potent chemoattractant for neutrophils and other immune cells, thereby facilitating their migration to sites of inflammation. This function is vital for the body′s defense mechanisms, as MIP-2 helps orchestrate the inflammatory response and promote tissue repair following injury or infection. MIP-2 is primarily secreted by activated macrophages and is involved in various pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and cancer, making MIP-2 an important target for therapeutic interventions. Anti-MIP-2 antibody (RR14) provides reliable detection and quantification of MIP-2, enabling researchers to explore its role in various biological processes and disease states.
