SEE ALSO...

MIP-1β Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MIP-1 beta protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MIP-1β (B-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MIP-1 beta, a member of the C-C chemokine subfamily, plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a chemoattractant for monocytes and T cells, particularly CD4+ T lymphocytes, which are essential for orchestrating adaptive immunity. The selective attraction of naive CD4+ T cells by MIP-1β is significant, as this process helps regulate immune response during infections and inflammation. Additionally, MIP-1β has been implicated in the control of HIV infection, as CD8+ T cells produce MIP-1β along with MIP-1α and RANTES, contributing to viral replication suppression. MIP-1β′s ability to selectively recruit specific immune cell types underscores this protein′s importance in both normal immune function and disease pathogenesis, making MIP-1β a valuable target for research and therapeutic applications.

MIP1βの抗体サンプルを一度使ってみたいのですが、パラフィンの免疫染色で使用可能でしょうか?その際のプロトコールは抗原賦活化と抗体の希釈濃度等はございますでしょうか?

Asked by: tomy
Thank you very much for your question. We do not recommend this antibody for immunostaining of paraffin, but you can still try it. Sodium citrate PH 6.0 is recommended for Antigen-Retrieval and the recommended dilution ratio is 1:50.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393441 P appropriate for?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
