SEE ALSO...

MIP-1α Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects MIP-1α of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-MIP-1α antibody (D-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MIP-1α, a member of the C-C chemokine subfamily, plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a potent chemoattractant for monocytes and T cells, which are essential for mounting an effective immune defense. MIP-1α′s ability to attract CD8+ T lymphocytes is particularly significant, as these cells produce HIV-suppressive factors that can inhibit the replication of HIV-1, HIV-2, and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV). This function underscores MIP-1α′s importance in both innate and adaptive immune responses, particularly in viral infections. The diverse range of applications for MIP-1α (D-3) monoclonal antibody makes this reagent invaluable for researchers studying immune responses, chemokine signaling, and viral pathogenesis mechanisms.
