Mindin Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Mindin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Mindin antibody (A-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Mindin protein, also known as Spondin-2, plays a crucial role in cell signaling and is involved in the regulation of immune responses and tissue repair. Mindin expression is notably altered in cancerous tissues, highlighting Mindin′s potential as a biomarker for tumor progression. Mindin (A-10) antibody targets proteins primarily located in the extracellular matrix, where Mindin facilitates interactions between cells and their environment, thus influencing cellular behavior and communication. Understanding Mindin localization and function is essential for elucidating Mindin′s role in various physiological and pathological processes, making anti-Mindin antibody (A-10) a valuable tool for researchers studying cancer biology and tissue dynamics.

Can Mindin (A-10): sc-166868 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. Yes, Mindin (A-10): sc-166868 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
