Mig-2 Antibody (NQ-A16) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Mig-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Mig-2 antibody (NQ-A16) is available as a non-conjugated format. Mig-2, also known as Kindlin 2, plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and cytoskeletal organization by recruiting migfilin to cell-matrix adhesions, facilitating interaction with filamin, which mediates migfilin association with actin filaments. This dynamic interaction links cell matrix adhesions to actin cytoskeleton, orchestrating actin assembly and modulating cell shape, vital for cellular processes including migration, proliferation, and tissue integrity. Mig-2 expression shows transcriptional elevation in leiomyomas, suggesting involvement in hormone-mediated growth of uterine tumors. Additionally, Mig-2 demonstrates ubiquitous expression across numerous tumor tissues, highlighting potential as a biomarker for cancer research and therapeutic targeting.

I am using Mig-2 (NQ-A16): sc-134387 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
