    SEE ALSO...

MFAP3 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects MFAP3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MFAP3 antibody (B-10) is available as the non-conjugated form. MFAP3 plays a crucial role in the formation and stabilization of microfibrils, which are essential components of the extracellular matrix that provide structural support to various tissues. These microfibrils can interact with elastin, influencing the mechanical properties of connective tissues. Proper functioning of MFAP3 is vital for maintaining the integrity of the extracellular matrix, and dysregulation has been implicated in several heritable diseases, including those affecting the cardiovascular and skeletal systems. Notably, MFAP3 gene is located near the fibrillin genes, which are associated with conditions such as Marfan syndrome and congenital contractural arachnodactyly, highlighting MFAP3′s importance in the context of microfibril-related pathologies. With an ability to detect MFAP3 across multiple species and applications, MFAP3 (B-10) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the role of microfibrils in health and disease.
