    SEE ALSO...

Mex3d Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Mex3d of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Mex3d antibody (H-3) is available as the non-conjugated form. Mex3d, also known as MEX3, TINO, RKHD1, or RNF193, is a crucial member of the Mex-3 family of RNA-binding phosphoproteins, characterized by two tandemly repeated KH domains and a C-terminal RING finger motif. Mex3d shuttles between the nucleus and cytoplasm via the CRM1-dependent export pathway to regulate post-transcriptional events. Mex3d plays a significant role in maintaining germline totipotency and in the specification of posterior blastomeres during early embryonic development in Caenorhabditis elegans. In humans, four evolutionarily conserved homologs—Mex3a, Mex3b, Mex3c, and Mex3d—highlight this protein family′s importance in various cellular processes. Ubiquitously expressed Mex3d undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in a variant form known as TINO, which has implications for functional diversity. Through specific RNA target interactions, Mex3d regulates gene expression, making Mex3d a valuable target for research in developmental biology and gene regulation.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514739 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
