Meis2 Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Meis2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Meis2 (H-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Meis2, a member of the TALE (three amino acid loop extension) family of homeodomain-containing proteins, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during development and adult hematopoiesis. Meis2 forms heteromeric complexes with Hox and Pbx proteins, enhancing DNA binding affinity and specificity. These complexes are vital for proper tissue patterning and differentiation by regulating gene expression. Meis2 expression can be altered in various leukemias, highlighting its significance in both normal physiology and disease states. In the pancreas, Meis2 preferentially associates with Pbx1, forming a complex that represses Pdx1 transcriptional activation, a key factor in pancreatic development. This regulatory mechanism underscores Meis2′s importance in maintaining cellular identity and function, making Meis2 a valuable target for research in developmental biology and cancer.
