Med6 Antibody (1D3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects Med6 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Med6 plays a crucial role in the regulation of transcription by acting as a coactivator within the high molecular weight coactivating complexes, specifically the SMCC (SRB and MED protein cofactor complex). Med6 (1D3) antibody recognizes components essential for mediating signals between transcriptional activators and RNA polymerase II, thereby enhancing gene-specific activation or repression.
