MATH-1 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects MATH-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MATH-1, also known as Atoh1, Ath1, or HATH-1, is a 351 amino acid helix-loop-helix transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the development of the nervous system. MATH-1 (H-6) antibody helps researchers study neural progenitor cell differentiation, where MATH-1 activates E box-dependent transcription, influencing various neural cell types. MATH-1 expression begins in cranial ganglions and the dorsal part of the central nervous system by embryonic day 9.5 in mice, becomes restricted to the external granular layer of the cerebellum by day 18, and remains undetectable in the adult nervous system. Proper MATH-1 regulation is essential for neural development, as dysregulation can lead to neurodevelopmental disorders. Anti-MATH-1 antibody (H-6) serves as a valuable tool for researchers studying neural differentiation and nervous system development mechanisms.
