MAPKAP-1 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MAPKAP-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MAPKAP-1 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase-Associated Protein 1 (MAPKAP-1) plays a crucial role in cellular signaling, particularly in the nucleus, where MAPKAP-1 is involved in several signal transduction pathways. MAPKAP-1 is essential for the regulation of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) signaling, acting as a scaffold that facilitates interaction between various signaling molecules. MAPKAP-1 undergoes phosphorylation in response to cellular stress, which is critical for function in stress response pathways. MAPKAP-1 gene transcription increases during cellular injury, highlighting MAPKAP-1′s importance in wound healing and cellular recovery processes.
