MAN2A1 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects MAN2A1 in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MAN2A1 (F-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MAN2A1, also known as mannosidase alpha class 2A member 1, is a single-pass type II membrane protein primarily located in the cisternae of the Golgi apparatus, where MAN2A1 plays a crucial role in glycoprotein modification. Specifically, MAN2A1 is involved in N-glycan processing, catalyzing the hydrolysis of terminal alpha-D-mannose residues in the oligosaccharide Man5(GlcNAc)3, which is a vital step in glycoprotein maturation. This enzymatic activity is essential for proper protein folding and function, as well as for overall glycoprotein quality control within cells. MAN2A1′s role in glycan processing highlights potential implications in various biological processes and diseases, making MAN2A1 a valuable target for research and therapeutic applications.

To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody.
