MAML3 Antibody (797C2a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects MAML3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-MAML3 antibody (797C2a) is available as a non-conjugated format. MAML3, or Mastermind-like protein 3, is a crucial nuclear speckle protein that functions as a transcriptional coactivator for Notch receptors, playing a significant role in the Notch signaling pathway, which is essential for determining cell fate by regulating how precursor cells respond to developmental signals. MAML3′s structure consists of an N-terminal domain that is vital for binding to the ankyrin repeats of Notch proteins (Notch 1, Notch 2, Notch 3, and Notch 4) and a C-terminal domain that is critical for transcriptional activation. This structural arrangement allows MAML3 to form a DNA-binding complex with Notch proteins and RBP-Jκ, which subsequently induces HES1 gene expression. The precise interaction between these domains is crucial for MAML3′s function in cell signaling and transcriptional regulation. Notably, MAML3 up-regulation has been implicated in oncogenesis, highlighting MAML3′s potential role in cancer development.
