    SEE ALSO...

MAML2 Antibody (G-07) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MAML2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MAML2 antibody (G-07) is available as a non-conjugated format. MAML2, or Mastermind-like protein 2, plays a crucial role as a transcriptional coactivator in the Notch signaling pathway, which is essential for regulating cell fate decisions during development. MAML2 is primarily located in the nucleus, where MAML2 forms complexes with Notch receptors and the DNA-binding protein RBP-Jκ, facilitating the transcription of target genes such as HES1. Proper localization of MAML2 within the nucleus is vital for function, as nuclear presence ensures effective interaction with Notch signaling components to modulate gene expression. Dysregulation of MAML2 has been linked to various cancers, including mucoepidermoid carcinomas and benign Warthin tumors, highlighting MAML2′s importance in both normal development and disease processes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cross reacted with other proteins?1:500 dilution ON 4 deg C in TBS/BSA on western of N2a whole cell lysate. Got a very strong band around 50 KDa (tubulin?). Tried cutting the membrane (to JUST the high MW) in case cross-reactivity was diluting out true signal but still got nothin...two stars cuz it was free and to be fair, the 50KDa signal was really good...whatever it was...
