    SEE ALSO...

MAGI-2 Antibody (6F5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MAGI-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MAGI-2 antibody (6F5) is available as non-conjugated format. MAGI-2, a member of the membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) family, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and structural organization by facilitating multiprotein complex assembly at the membrane-cytoskeletal interface. MAGI-2 includes three distinct protein-protein interaction modules: PDZ domain, SH3 domain, and guanylate kinase (GuK) domain. These domains enable specific interactions with other proteins, including tumor suppressor PTEN, making MAGI-2 essential for scaffolding and signaling functions. Through anchoring PTEN at the plasma membrane, MAGI-2 helps regulate cell growth and survival, maintaining cellular homeostasis. MAGI-2 localizes to the plasma membrane, contributing to dynamic organization of signaling complexes and highlighting significance in various physiological and pathological contexts.

Let me know the MW of MAGI-2 band. On the pic of the datasheet of sc-517008, MAGI-2 band is between 110k and 222k, and I would like to know it more specific. Is it near 160k?

    Asked by: ppap
Thank you for your question.A specific band was detected for MAGI2 at approximately 170 kDa.Thank you.

For Western Blot, is it recommended to use denatured or non-denatured conditions with MAGI-2 (6F5): sc-517008 antibody?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. We recommend this antibody for use in denatured Western Blot conditions. It has not been validated for use in non-denatured conditions. Please contact our Technical Service Department for further details or inquiries.
