LRRC4 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRRC4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRRC4 (C-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 4 (LRRC4), also known as Brain tumor-associated protein BAG, Nasopharyngeal carcinoma-associated gene 14 protein (NAG14), or Netrin-G2 ligand (NGL-2), plays a crucial role in the central nervous system, where LRRC4 is specifically expressed in the brain. One of the key aspects of LRRC4 is a structure that includes one immunoglobulin-like domain and nine leucine-rich repeats. These motifs form a hydrophobic α/β horseshoe fold, allowing for the accommodation of several leucine residues within a tightly packed core. The structural integrity provided by these leucine-rich repeats is essential for mediating protein-protein interactions, which are vital for various cellular processes, including signaling pathways and synaptic functions. Notably, methylation of the LRRC4 gene is frequently observed in gliomas, highlighting LRRC4′s potential as a biomarker for diagnosis and a promising therapeutic target.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with LRRC4 (C-11): sc-376475?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
