SEE ALSO...

LRP3 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRP3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRP3 (D-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 3 (LRP3) is a 770 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in the internalization of lipophilic molecules and signal transduction pathways. LRP3 is characterized by the presence of two CUB domains and four LDL-receptor class A domains, which are essential for function as a membrane receptor. LRP3 is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle and ovary tissues, with lower expression levels found in testis, colon, and leukocytes, highlighting importance in specific physiological contexts. LRP3′s structure, particularly the arrangement of domains, is vital for interaction with various ligands and other proteins, influencing cellular uptake and signaling mechanisms. Understanding LRP3′s role and interactions can provide insights into lipid metabolism and related disorders, making anti-LRP3 antibody (D-8) an invaluable tool for researchers studying these pathways.
