LRP3 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRP3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRP3 (D-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 3 (LRP3) is a 770 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in the internalization of lipophilic molecules and signal transduction pathways. LRP3 is characterized by the presence of two CUB domains and four LDL-receptor class A domains, which are essential for function as a membrane receptor. LRP3 is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle and ovary tissues, with lower expression levels found in testis, colon, and leukocytes, highlighting importance in specific physiological contexts.
