LMO2 Antibody (1A9-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LMO2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. LMO2 (1A9-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LMO2 protein plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression, particularly in hematopoiesis and T-cell development. LMO2 is primarily located in the nucleus, where LMO2 functions as a transcriptional regulator by forming complexes with other proteins, such as nuclear LIM interactor (NLI), also known as CLIM-1. This interaction is vital for assembling transcriptional regulatory complexes that modulate target gene expression, influencing cellular differentiation and function. LMO2′s importance in T-cell development is underscored by LMO2 expression in thymic precursor cells, where LMO2 helps orchestrate the differentiation process. Additionally, LMO2 expression is tightly regulated by neuronal activity in the central nervous system, highlighting LMO2′s role in maintaining the differentiated phenotype of neurons. Using anti-LMO2 antibody (1A9-1) in research can provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these critical biological processes.
