    SEE ALSO...

Liprin β2 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Liprin beta 2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Liprin β2 (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Liprin beta 2 protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and organization, particularly in synapse formation and axon guidance regulation, which is vital for proper neuronal connectivity and function. Liprin beta 2 protein is predominantly expressed in liver, kidney, intestine, heart, lung, and testis, with lower levels found in brain and thymus, highlighting importance in various physiological processes. Liprins, including Liprin beta 2, interact with members of leukocyte common antigen-related family of transmembrane protein tyrosine phosphatases, which are essential for cellular communication and development. Structural characteristics of Liprin beta 2, including multivalent nature and ability to form complex scaffolds, facilitate recruitment and anchoring of LAR phosphatases, thereby influencing signaling pathways critical for cell development and function. Liprin beta 2 exists in four isoforms due to splicing variants, with Isoform 1 representing full-length protein, while other isoforms exhibit specific deletions or alternative sequences that may affect functional roles.
