Lipoprotein Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects the lipoprotein protein of S. equi origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Lipoprotein (A-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Lipoprotein plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of Streptococcus equi, as lipoprotein is involved in the bacterium′s ability to evade the host immune response.
