SEE ALSO...

LIMP II Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects LIMP II protein in mouse, rat, and human samples by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LIMP II (D-4) antibody is available in non-conjugated form and conjugated to agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants. LIMP II, a lysosomal integral membrane protein family member, maintains proper lysosomal function for cellular waste disposal and recycling. LIMP II (D-4) monoclonal antibody helps researchers study lysosomal membrane dynamics, where LIMP II facilitates lysosome fusion with phagocytic vacuoles for material degradation. Anti-LIMP II antibody (D-4) serves as a valuable research tool for investigating protein trafficking to lysosomes, cellular debris processing, and overall lysosomal integrity.

I am using LIMP II (D-4): sc-55571 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

Asked by: cjMara
We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
