    SEE ALSO...

LAT Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects LAT in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LAT (F-7) antibody recognizes the linker for activation of T cells, a crucial integral membrane protein that plays a significant role in T cell activation and immune response. LAT (F-7) monoclonal antibody targets a protein strategically located in the plasma membrane, where LAT serves as a critical signaling hub that facilitates the recruitment of various signaling molecules, including phospholipase C gamma 1, GRB2, and the p85 subunit of phosphoinositide 3-kinase. This localization is vital as LAT allows for rapid transmission of signals from the T cell receptor, leading to activation of downstream pathways that promote cell proliferation and differentiation. Furthermore, LAT undergoes palmitoylation, a post-translational modification essential for proper tyrosine phosphorylation and localization to lipid rafts, which are specialized microdomains in the membrane that enhance signaling efficiency. LAT′s role as a linker protein in T cell activation underscores its importance in orchestrating immune responses, making anti-LAT antibody (F-7) an invaluable tool for researchers studying T cell signaling and function.
