Laminin β-1 Antibody (LT3) is a rat monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Laminin β-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Laminin β-1 antibody (LT3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Laminin β-1 plays a crucial role in the formation and maintenance of basement membranes, which are specialized extracellular matrices that provide structural support to tissues and influence cellular behaviors such as proliferation, migration, and differentiation. These basement membranes are composed of laminins, which are heterotrimeric proteins made up of α, β, and γ chains, and they interact with various cell surface receptors, including integrins and dystroglycan, to mediate cell adhesion and signaling. The proper assembly and function of basement membranes are vital for tissue integrity and repair, as they serve as a barrier and scaffold for cells. The human Laminin β-1 gene is located on chromosome 7q22 and is expressed in a wide range of tissues, highlighting its importance in both normal physiology and pathological conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Western blot data of LamininWe used this antibody to detect laminin beta 1 and got a good result. Fresh liver samples were homogenized in RIPA buffer, then 40ug of total protein were subjected to 10% gel for SDS-PAGE and transferred onto a PVDF membrane. The membrane were incubated overnight at 4℃ with laminin beta 1 antibodies(1:1000) and it were incubated with anti- rat IgG(1:2000) at room temperature and detected with ECL kit.
