La/SSB Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects La/SSB of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). La/SSB (B-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. La/SSB, an autoimmune RNA-binding protein, is crucial for regulating RNA polymerase III transcription, which is essential for synthesizing small RNAs, including tRNAs and 5S rRNA. This function ensures proper protein synthesis and cellular function, and dysregulation of La/SSB can lead to autoimmune diseases such as primary Sjögren′s syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus.
