    SEE ALSO...

L-type Ca++ CP γ3 Antibody (A-07) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects L-type Ca++ CP gamma 3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-L-type Ca++ CP gamma 3 antibody (A-07) is available as a non-conjugated format. L-type Ca++ CP gamma 3 protein, also known as CACNG3 or Cacng2, is a crucial component of voltage-dependent calcium channels, which play a vital role in neurotransmitter release in neurons. L-type Ca++ CP gamma 3 is a 315 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the CACNG family and is one of eight gamma subunits modulating calcium current properties. L-type Ca++ CP gamma 3 stabilizes calcium current when the calcium channel is in a closed (inactivated) state, which is essential for maintaining proper neuronal signaling and preventing excitotoxicity. Defects in the gene encoding L-type Ca++ CP gamma 3 have been linked to familial infantile convulsive disorder with paroxysmal choreoathetosis, an autosomal dominant neurological disorder that underscores this protein′s importance in normal brain function. Using L-type Ca++ CP γ3 (A-07) monoclonal antibody can provide valuable insights into calcium signaling mechanisms and their implications in neurological disorders.
