    SEE ALSO...

KMCP1 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects KMCP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KMCP1 Antibody (C-7) is available as the non-conjugated anti-KMCP1 antibody (C-7). The kidney mitochondrial carrier protein-1 (KMCP1), also known as solute carrier family 25 member 30 (SLC25A30), plays a crucial role in metabolite transport across the inner mitochondrial membrane, essential for maintaining cellular energy homeostasis. KMCP1 functions as a multi-pass membrane protein predominantly localized in mitochondria and shows high expression in kidney cortex, where KMCP1 supports increased mitochondrial metabolism, particularly during oxidative stress. KMCP1 shares close relation with brain mitochondrial carrier protein-1 (BMCP1), another multi-pass membrane protein primarily expressed in brain and testis. BMCP1 facilitates mitochondrial proton leak, influencing energy efficiency and thermogenesis, highlighting the importance of mitochondrial transport mechanisms in various tissues. KMCP1 up-regulation in response to oxidative damage suggests a role in cellular protection and metabolic adaptation, making KMCP1 a significant target for research in mitochondrial function and related disorders.

what's the optimal secondary antibody ?

    Asked by: hn123
感谢提问。 这个单克隆一抗的免疫球蛋白类型是IgM,我们推荐二抗使用anti-mouse IgM的二抗,谢谢。 Thank you for your question. The primary antibody, immunoglobulin type is IgM. So we recommend anti-mouse IgM as secondary antibody.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398835 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
