KLK15 Antibody (JJ12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects KLK15 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-KLK15 antibody (JJ12) is available as a non-conjugated format. Kallikreins, including KLK15, are part of the serine protease family, which plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including the regulation of blood pressure, inflammation, and tissue remodeling. KLK15 protein is primarily expressed in the prostate and is involved in the proteolytic processing of other proteins, which is essential for maintaining normal cellular functions. KLK15 has been implicated in cancer biology, as expression levels can be altered in various malignancies, suggesting a potential role in tumor progression and metastasis. The human KLK gene family consists of 15 serine proteases located on chromosome 19q13, with specific clusters exhibiting high expression in prostatic and pancreatic tissues. Understanding the function and regulation of KLK15 is vital, as KLK15 may serve as a biomarker for prostate cancer and other related diseases, providing insights into therapeutic targets and diagnostic applications.
