    SEE ALSO...

KLHL17 Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects KLHL17 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KLHL17 (H-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KLHL17 protein, also known as kelch-like protein 17, is a 642 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a BACK (BTB/Kelch associated) domain, a BTB (POZ) domain, and six kelch repeats. KLHL17 is predominantly expressed in the brain and plays a crucial role in actin-based neuronal functions by interacting with F-actin, which is essential for maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of neurons. Additionally, KLHL17 interacts with PDZK1, a protein vital for the stability of actin cytoskeletons, as well as with SYNGAP1 and NMDA receptors, highlighting its importance in synaptic signaling and plasticity. The gene encoding KLHL17 is located on human chromosome 1p36.33 and mouse chromosome 4 E2, making KLHL17 a significant target for studies related to neuronal development and function.
