KLF7 Antibody (83-RT) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects KLF7 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KLF7, or Krüppel-like factor 7, is a crucial transcriptional activator belonging to the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc finger protein family, known for its role in regulating gene expression by targeting promoter regions with CACCC elements. KLF7 is particularly important in the development of the nervous system, as KLF7 facilitates the differentiation of neuronal precursors by promoting their exit from the cell cycle. Notably, KLF7 is involved in the regulation of Trk A, the receptor for nerve growth factor, which is essential for the proper growth and maturation of neurons. The expression of KLF7 is widespread, with the highest levels found in brain and nervous tissue, underscoring KLF7′s significance in neurodevelopmental processes.
