    SEE ALSO...

KIR3DL1/2 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KIR3DL1/2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KIR3DL1/2 (C-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The killer immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs) play a crucial role in the immune response by regulating the activation and inhibition of natural killer (NK) cells through their interaction with human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecules. Specifically, KIR3DL1 serves as a receptor for HLA-B antigens that possess the Bw4 allele, delivering an inhibitory signal that prevents NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity, thereby maintaining self-tolerance and preventing autoimmunity. KIR3DL1 is a type I transmembrane protein composed of 444 amino acids and features three immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, which are essential for function and interaction with HLA molecules. The genes encoding human KIR3DL1 and KIR3DL2 are located on chromosome 19, highlighting their importance in the genetic regulation of immune responses.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with KIR3DL1/2 (C-3): sc-515229?

    Asked by: AbPolly
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
