    KIFC3 Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KIFC3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KIFC3 antibody (D-9) is available as the non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. KIFC3, or kinesin family member C3, is a vital motor protein composed of 833 amino acids that plays a significant role in intracellular transport and cellular organization. KIFC3 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and associates with the peripheral membrane, specifically found in the zona adherens of confluent epithelial cells and in renal distal tubules and the loops of Henle. Proper localization of KIFC3 is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the zona adherens, which is essential for cell-cell adhesion and tissue architecture. Additionally, KIFC3 is involved in apically targeted transport, ensuring that proteins and organelles are correctly distributed within the cell, which is vital for various cellular functions, including cell division and membrane trafficking.
