    KIF3C Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KIF3C protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KIF3C antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KIF3C is a member of the kinesin family, which comprises a diverse group of microtubule-dependent motor proteins essential for intracellular transport. KIF3C plays a pivotal role in the anterograde transport of membrane-bound organelles, particularly in neurons, where KIF3C facilitates the movement of vesicles and protein complexes necessary for the proper functioning of cilia and flagella. KIF3C is primarily localized in the cytoplasm and is crucial for maintaining cellular organization and function, especially during neuronal development. Notably, KIF3C is highly expressed in neural tissues such as the brain, spinal cord, and retina, and KIF3C expression is upregulated during neuroblastoma differentiation, indicating a significant role in neuronal maturation and potential implications in neurodevelopmental disorders. The human KIF3C gene is located on chromosome 2p23 and encodes a 793 amino acid protein, underscoring KIF3C′s importance in both cellular transport mechanisms and the overall health of the nervous system.
